Public Records Request Policy

In order to maintain compliance with the Louisiana Public Records Law (LSA R.S. 44:1 et. seq.), all requests for the viewing or copies of public records maintained by the Louisiana Auctioneers Licensing Board shall be submitted to the Board in writing using the Public Records Request Form.

Cost of Public Records Requests
Upon receipt of a public records request, the Louisiana Auctioneers Licensing Board will provide the requestor with an invoice for any applicable fees.
- Paper copies are charged at $0.25 per page plus postage fees.
- Payment may be made by personal check, money order or cashier’s check payable to the Louisiana Auctioneers Licensing Board or by credit card, which will include a $5 credit card processing fee.
Confidentiality
The Louisiana Auctioneers Licensing Board shall protect the confidentiality of the licensees and take the necessary steps to ensure that all checks and balances are followed before any information is disseminated.
